Other devices that commonly use 6VDC with negative center polarity in this connector size include select vintage Radio Shack / Realistic portable radios, certain Uniden handheld scanners, and other consumer electronics specifying a 6V, 2.1×5.5mm tip-negative supply.
Always verify your device's polarity marking before connecting. The polarity symbol on your device's label or DC input jack will indicate (+) or (−) at the center pin.
