Unloaded output VDC WAY TOO HIGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really wanted to like this AC-DC Linear Power Supply 9V DC @ 1000ma; 2.1 x 5.5mm (+) center polarity but it would blow up my equipment if I interconnected it with this thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye now !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry the power supply was not a match for your needs. A linear AC-DC power supply (non-regulated) will always read about 1.5x higher on a no-load read. The 9VDC will probably read about 13-13.5VDC. A regulated or a switching type power supply (are always regulated) will give a constant steady volt reading with a +/- of 0.2V within its stated voltage.

Whereas an AC-AC linear power supply will read about 1VDC higher on an open/no-load read.

A Great Variac At A Great Price!

I've been considering getting a variable output isolation transformer for quite a few years, but I always assumed that they were expensive. When I purchased a Japanese market synthesizer (100 volts AC power requirements), I needed a step-down transformer. During my search, I came across this little gem at a very surprisingly reasonable price. The reviews were good, so I bought it.

It was shipped right away, and arrived within 2 days. It's a wonderful unit, and it works perfectly!

Great adapter!

I used this adapter in combination with a USB C to 2.1mm x 5.5mm to create a USB C 12v adapter for my equipment. Works great! Now I don't have to be tethered to an extension cord while I work.

Fit is perfect, quality is decent. Couldn't ask for more.

Great product

It did a good job as advertised. I was getting a hum when I turned on my subwoofer. I plugged the sub directly to the isolation transformer. It decreased it by about 90%. Maybe if I plug my sub into my power conditioner and then plug the power conditioner into the transformer it might eliminate the hum completely. I have not tried it yet. Have not had time,but the hum is barely noticeable now. I have to get very close to the sub to detect it. Very happy even with the 90% hum reduction

AC/AC for the win

Used these to power my legacy Hallmark Star Trek ornaments and they work great. AC/AC is hard to find and the Powershack had these quality units and shipped them quick. Wish I’d had another option besides USPS for shipping but otherwise great product and experience.
