It works. Would prefer a 90 degree offset, but it works asis.
Works great, puts out approximately 7.4 VAC which is probably a combination of build tolerance and my actual outlet voltage being a little higher than average determining this, but worked perfect for my application. These are a little hard to find at this voltage, so was happy getting one here. Shipping was quick, well made product, would buy again.
Hi there! Thank you for your positive review of our AC-AC Power Supply. We're glad to hear that it's working well for you and that you were able to find a product with the specific voltage you needed. At 120VAC input, it's normal for the power supply to read about 1.5VAC higher on an open circuit. But once it's plugged into your device, it should lower down to the advertised voltage. Thank you for choosing our product and we hope to see you again!
AC-AC Power Supply 6V AC @ 1670mA; 2.1 x 5.5mm
The tracking number #2661 did not connect with USPS number system. I could not track shippment even after downloading SHOP..I had paid $10 shipping. The USPS required an additional $6.65 to release the package to me. USPS rep was vocal about trying to ship this as first class mail. The shipping cost more than the power supply. The power supply does worked well. Bill Tilley
Underpowered.
Sorry the power supply didn't meet your expectations. An open load reading for a 6VAC (6 Volts Alternating Current) power supply typically reads very close to the supply's rated voltage, which in this case is 6 volts. When there is no load connected to the power supply, there is no current flowing through the circuit, so there are no voltage drops across any internal resistances or components. As a result, the voltage at the output of the power supply remains very close to its rated value, and you would typically measure close to 6VAC with an appropriate voltage measuring instrument.
However, keep in mind that there can be some minor variations and tolerances in power supply performance, and open load voltage readings can sometimes be slightly above or below the rated voltage, but they should generally be quite close to the specified value.
Where as a AC-DC & non-regulated power supply would usually read about 1.5x higher then the stated rating in a open load.

Good Linear Supply for a good price
Seems to be working as it should now. There was a humming or buzzing coming from it when the front switch is off. Not sure if this is normal or not. If the just leave the front switch on it doesn't do the humming or buzzing. The rear main power switch has to remain on per my bench setup so it not easily accessible to keep crawling under the bench to reach up behind to flip the switch. So far it's been working great with my gear as expected.
I was having trouble finding a power supply cord for my lamp. I wrote an email to AC-DC Power Shack and Hans wrote me back within the hour and helped me choose this and the right accessory. Amazing customer service - highly recommend!! Shipping was also fast.
Well manufactured and easy to use Power Supply complete with all dials, plugs and switches required. Sturdy Painted Box.
Heard about the AC-DC Powershack on a YouTube video teaching electronics for vintage radios. They were highly recommended for both product and service. I needed an Isolation Transformer for working on vintage radios. For my projects I don’t expect to need work than a 3 amp isolation transformer and settled for this 5 amp rated model. It does what it’s supposed to do, it got shipped in a reasonable time, ithas been working just fine, and the price was fair. Not much more to say other than I feel a little safer user this isolation transformer.
The charger was fine, but i got bad advice wnen i ordered it from someone not in your company. As far as i am concerned, your company was first class.
I bought this variable transformer for use while working on vintage tube radios. It came highly recommended from a fellow radio restorer and seems to be of good quality and works as it should. Shipping was quick and the price was right… no complaints. Instead of buying from Amazon, I wanted to support and buy from a small business and I've heard that this company provides good service.
Recieved Adjusting DC Power Supply from you in a very short time and feel it's a very nice piece of equipment. Very handy to have and very well done. I feel that it's price is very low for the material and work put into it. Want to thank you
for all that is put into it. Recommend
Sent a picture of what I had, support sent me a replacement part that fixed my issue. Price was great too.
I Love the ac/ad power shack. Smooth power supply for old battery gadgets.
works perfectly!

I am very satisfied with the power supply, it works for various applications. I was most impressed by how fast I received it in the mail. I ordered one from Amazon and ended up canceling the order after 3 weeks waiting for them to ship it. You guys are awesome!
easy ordering and quick shipping. product came well packaged and sealed. it meant all my expectations that it was meant to be used for. awesome company to do business with.
Tried to find a unique power adapter and they had just the product! Support was great at helping me find the right product and very responsive.

I love it. It's the best one I've ever had.

Dry happy to have it
I purchased this for my fiber optic Hummingbird lamp because it has a color wheel synchrous motor in which requires the above power adapter. This company is the only company I found that carries these adapters. I bought one, and now have bought 2 more, one for my sister who has the same lamp and another for me, because I recently purchased another fiber optic lamp. Hans was very helpful and I truly appreciate the help he provided. Thank you Hans!
Most guitar pedals and effects boxes are standard 9V center negative DC, but my Alesis Phlngr actually needs 9V AC. I had to find the right plug size which ended up being 2.5 mm inner diameter instead of 2.1mm like this adapter. This site also sells the converter from 2.1x5.5 mm to 2.5x5.5 mm that allows me to interface with this unit. Works as intended.
I bought this adapter for my Boss SE-50 since I did not want to spend $40+ on a giant brick known as the BRB-120. I had one of the original Roland power supplies back in the day and hated how much space it took up just for a half-1U rackmount. However the plug on the AC/AC adapter I bought here is 2.1mm x 5.5mm so I also got a converter on this website to adapt it to the 3.0mm x 6.3mm plug in the back of the SE-50. I have confirmed this to be operational, and a less expensive shoehorn for the BRB-120.
