I added this to our home audio system. We live in a condo building in Boston with multiple units in the building, and wanted some level of protection and filtering of likely a dirty AC source, without spending a fortune. I perceive an improvement in sound particularly digital sources, and feel more comfortable our equipment is well protected. Highly recommended and I consider this a bargain.

I purchased this for my fiber optic Hummingbird lamp because it has a color wheel synchrous motor in which requires the above power adapter. This company is the only company I found that carries these adapters. I bought one, and now have bought 2 more, one for my sister who has the same lamp and another for me, because I recently purchased another fiber optic lamp. This isolation offers good value on an essential tool that is required for conducting AC powered experiments where isolated ground is essential, such as monitoring wave forms. It works great with no noise. For the price, it is a great buy.

Used supply with 12vdc relay to make a trigger for amplifier. Needed relay because supply has a capacitor that takes a long time to bleed down in this application.
These cables I ordered saved what would have become scrap ( led lighting kit ) as nobody else had this size extension adapter.
